GREAT FINISH OF THE SEASON FOR FUTURENET IMPERIUM KATOWICE

Published by Cyber Flows on

FutureNet Imperium Katowice finished the season in Polish 1st women handball league with strong impact! Our team beat MKS TS San Jarosław 35:14 and won the runner-up of the season title.

In this game, the visiting team had just no chances to score even a draw. FutureNet Imperium set the bar to the very high level in the 1st half. Our team scored 19 goals and lost only 3. It’s a very rare result in handball. And we need to mention that during the most of the 1st half, our team was leading without even a single goal lost. The highest advantage was 14:0 for our team, and then MKS TS San woke up just before the break and scored 3 goals.

In the 2nd half, our team never slowed down the pace. The guest had no idea how to stop FutureNet Imperium and our team continued its shooting festival. During this part of the game, our team was leading even 30:9. In the last few minutes, the guests had more scoring chances and managed to set their overall achievement to 14 goals. Just to avoid a huge sweep in Katowice.

All players from FutureNet Imperium played very even on Saturday’s afternoon. Every player – except our goalies – scored a goal in this game. Joanna Sermak (7 goals) was the leading scorer, with strong support of Aleksandra Jaroszewska (6 goals) and Sabina Radlak (5 goals). In TS MKS San, Izabela Brzozowska scored 5 goals and was the best player of her team.

A few weeks ago, FutureNet Imperium clashed with WKPR Wesoła Warsaw and that game has been scheduled previously for May. With this change of schedule of games, FutureNet Imperium finished the season on Saturday, April 27th. In 22 games, our team won 17 games and scored 50 points eventually. It gives our team the title for the runner-up of the league. It’s an impressive result for the team which played its first season in the 1st league. Well done, ladies!
