Fundacja Dzieciom “Zdążyć z Pomocą”
Fundacja Dzieciom “Zdążyć z Pomocą” – a nationwide foundation, which is a non-governmental organization also having the status of a public benefit organization.
The foundation was established in 1998. Its headquarters is in Warsaw. The founder of this organization was Stanisław Kowalski. The body representing the foundation is its management. From the beginning, Stanisław Kowalski was at the head of it. The function of the chairman of the foundation council was taken by actress Beata Tyszkiewicz, and the patron of the main program was Zbigniew Religa.
From the very beginning, the Foundation has been implementing its own “Zdążyć z Pomocą” Program, under which it works to support sick and disabled children in the country. It also helps financially in health, care and educational facilities. According to own data, in 2009 the organization had around 9.5 thousand charges. On her initiative, among others, open Rehabilitation Center AMICUS in Warsaw. The Foundation covers the costs of its activities from the publishing business, publishing, among others, calendars and books for children. She published, among others a series of fairytales with attached CDs with recordings of Polish artists, among them Beata Tyszkiewicz, Irena Kwiatkowska, Jacek Fedorowicz and Ewa Ziętek.
Stanisław Kowalski, founder and president of the board of the foundation, in 2009, for outstanding services in organizing and helping children, for achievements in social and charity activities, he was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
