Volante Technologies, one of the most respected global provider of payment solutions, is settling transfer using XRP through a link with Ripple, the Jersey-based firm has confirmed.

Volante says its platform can be deployed to settle payment through XRP token, this according to the firm, is possible after linking with Ripple’s RippleNet.

The tech firm made the disclosure on Twitter after an inquisitive XRP user sought to know whether XRP will be made possible as a settlement mechanism for First American Trust FSB which just selected Volante Technologies US Fedwire as a Service in the Cloud. Volante responded that customers can make use of XRP on its platform since it is connected to Ripple.

Volante has integrated with Ripple since October 2015 when it launched the VolPay Hub Ripple integration capability. In 2016, Volante also launched a new Ripple solution that was made available as a component of the VolPay Foundation payments development platform.

In the same 2016, Volante partnered Ripple to launch a software solution targeted at increasing the process of linking with Ripple’s real-time cross border payments solution.

Volante has been a good partner of Ripple. At the 2015 SWIFT’s SIBOS, the solutions provider showed Ripple-readiness as an integral part of the VolPay Hub product. The firm says it developed “a highly flexible integration solution” designed to ease integration with Ripple. The solution is now included in the Volante’s VolPay suite, and it is being deployed by banks and many other Ripple customers.

Ripple has a strong network of partners across the globe. In Africa, Ripple has started having a presence with its partnership with Flutterwave and dedication to creating a linkable solution for the unbanked people of Africa through the Bill Gates Foundation’s Mojaalop.

NewsLogical earlier published that Ripple is set for China and the blockchain firm is gradually moving into the country. Once the political and economic tension eases off, Ripple has fully prepared the ground to coast the people and financial institutions in the country and the entire Asia.

Already lots of banks in Japan are fully collaborating with Ripple. This was made possible through the consortium of banks spearheaded by SBI Holdings and branded SBI-Ripple Asia. The consortium is behind MoneyTap, an almost-free remittance application used in the country. SBI Holding is a great campaigner for Ripple and XRP token in Asia. The group has shares in Ripple Labs Inc. and R3, and resolved the rift between Ripple and R3. Also, SBI launched SBI VC, an Exchange centered on crypto-asset XRP.
