Despite the entry of many other digital assets, the king coin has continued to maintain its dominance over the industry for more than a decade now. However, the Ethereum network seems to be overtaking Bitcoin in terms of transaction fees.

Anthony Sassano, the Co-founder of EthHub, shared a tweet highlighting the fact that the total fees paid on Ethereum were more than that of Bitcoin. The spike in Ethereum’s fee was fueled by the exorbitant $2.6 million paid in fees, last month, and ever since Ethereum has been lounging above Bitcoin with regard to total fees in USD.

The network recently rolled out the Altona testnet for the Phase 0 of Eth2. The fact that  Altona is a multiclient testnet differs it from the other testnets. The platform is on track following its timely release of the testnet.
